This was a cool wedding for me to shoot, not just because it was pretty(it was) or because the weather cooperated (it did), but because I've know Sarah and Ryan for a long time. Longer than a lot of people I currently see. Sarah and I go back to grade nine, where we played trumpet together in music class, and Ryan and I go back to junior kindergarten- Mrs. Maher's class of 1981 I believe.
Oh! and Sarah was my prom date in grade 12! or maybe grade 13. I'm not sure. Either way, I was so glad to be able to share the day with two people with whom I share so much history.
It's been a busy summer for Adam's parents. They married off their oldest son back in June, and the end of August saw another son dressed up and waiting for his lady walking down the aisle in white.
Just to add to the excitement, Adam's mom made the cakes for both weddings!
We started in Sauble Beach for some shots with the girls, before heading to Southampton for the ceremony. The church sits right beside the water tower, which made for an unexpectedly cool background for some shots with the guys. We headed to a few locations in South before heading back to Owen Sound to finish up. The weather was beautiful (if a little warm) all day; just part of what made it one to remember.

Stacey and Scott were so much fun to work with! Stacey probably had the least concern for keeping her dress clean of any bride I know, and the whole bridal party was hooting from the moment the wedding was official.
Scott also did a great job of picking places to shoot. The ceremony was at the Klages mill and gardens (which were gorgeous), and we stopped at a very cool factory for some shots of the wedding party. We endured a giant downpour (we were on the road, in cars however) on the way to the coolest church yard ever. Over the years, the church had fallen into disrepair. Most of the building came down, but the facade was saved and preserved.
Thanks guys, for letting me share and document your wedding day.

This was my first wedding at the very cool Falls Inn in Walter's Falls. There were so many cool places to shoot that we definitely could not hit them all. I hope I get back there someday to catch a few more of them. Things really started to kick when the music started up- do notice the elevation achieved by these guys when hava nagila came on...

Here are a few pics from Becky and Serge's wedding. This was a busy weekend for me- I shot Saturday and Sunday, with Jeff and Christa shooting another one on Saturday as well. In between, I made the trip out to Wiarton for the wedding of two friends. Four weddings is more nuptuals than I have ever packed into two days ever.
Anyway, Becky and Serge got married at Hibou, and we went to some very cool mansion grounds after (complete with hedge maze). Just as the light began to fade, we took some shots outside under a purple-orange sky with thunder sounding in the distance. We even took
advantage of the industrial-looking parking lot beside the reception venue to make some very manly images of the groomsmen.
