After a near disastrous attempt at a local department store photo studio, Stu and Kate asked me to give it a shot with their three boys. I don't know if anyone has more energy than those three kids. Except maybe Stu and Kate.
After a dreary Summer, the Fall came in like a beautiful, sunny, cheery rocket. Natalie and Bruce were some of the greatful recipients of that sun and cheer. After the preparations were made, we went to the amphitheatre in Southampton, moved on to high street and the beach, and finished up at the town hall. All around, a great time with lots of subtle hints of skater/boarder aesthetic.

Here are some more shots from the bike trail sessions for the upcoming Bike Trails of Grey County Brochure. Rumour has it that the actual brochure will be delayed, but the shooting continues! Tori and Isaiah were gracious models, but Sage was the star of the hour. I can't think of any other three year old who would have been so patient after so many laps past the camera guy.
The Georgian Trail: From Meaford to Collingwood
Grey County tourism is putting together a publication about cycling in the area, and asked me to make some images with them in mind. So on Wednesday evening, I went with the Rekets (excellent photographers in their own right) just North of Owen Sound. The Sydenham rail trail is a former rail line, and these days stretches from OS to Shallow Lake or so. Just to the west of the Owen Sound Golf and Country Club, it climbs a hill and the view opens up over the bay-you can see as far as Owen Sound's Hospital (about 5 km away) and beyond.
I suspect I'll get out to the Georgian trail for another session in the next week or two.
